Capital Partners for Education is hosting its annual celebration on April 23, 2020 to commemorate this year’s theme: “The Power of Relationships: Beyond Education”. Please join us for a relaxed and fun evening with our students, mentors, alumni, and staff. The program will highlight how we mentor low-income, and often first-generation students, to and through college, helping them gain the skills necessary to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree and succeed in the workforce. It’s an experience you’ll enjoy being part of!
Poet, essayist, award-winning author, and Baltimore native, Kondwani Fidel, will be joining us as our keynote speaker. Fidel’s lyrical poetry has been featured in The Washington Post, The Atlantic, CNN, The Root, The Independent, Mic, and Baltimore Sun.
You don’t want to miss this experience. When you purchase a ticket or sponsorship for this event, you’re helping CPE move its mission forward by providing students with one-to-one mentoring, academic advising, college persistence support, and career readiness training, which enables each of them to achieve more.
Watch our recap video from last year’s celebration to see what the experience was like. CPE celebrated its 25th anniversary with more than 300 guests. Watch the impact our program has made in the lives of thousands of individuals and hear Dr. Freeman Hrabowski’s speech to attendees.
