The academic middle is comprised of students whose GPAs range between 2.3-3.1
Students in the academic middle are on the cusp of college eligibility, but are unlikely to further their education without additional support. It is our belief that these students have untapped potential, and with the social networks to guide them in becoming self-actualized, resilient leaders, they’re better equipped to overcome the many challenges they encounter.
“I am grateful for the opportunity CPE has given me to meet new people and form a great relationship with my mentor. The CPE community has encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and I would love to give back to their community that has meant so much to me, and hopefully become a mentor one day.”Julissa Granados, CPE high school student
