What do you see in your crystal ball? It can be difficult to envision the future — and that can be a little scary. Here are some of the things you can look forward to in your four years in high school.
Before it all starts, you’ll need to apply and be accepted to a school — and to CPE. Learn how to apply.
Once you’re accepted, we’ll help make sure you’re ready. That means more than figuring out transportation and what classes and activities to sign up for. As an incoming freshman, you’ll attend the CPE summer readiness program. It includes summer school classes, an overnight retreat, a mentor-matching event, and orientation and study skills workshops for students and parents.
Chapter 1: Freshman year. There’s a lot to get used to – a new school, harder classes, new friends and activities. It’ll take a strong focus, but you won’t be alone. You’ll have an adult mentor to talk with and do things with. You’ll attend CPE study skills workshops and other programs throughout the year. And we’re always here to help you and your family create a strong foundation for success.
Chapters 2 and 3: Sophomore and junior years. As you become accustomed to your school responsibilities, we’ll be asking you to remember and act on the CPE values. Special CPE programs and activities will help you stay on track academically, plan for college, and give back to the community. You’ll participate in our summer enrichment programming, which ensures that you’ll be involved in constructive activities that supplement your education.
Chapter 4: Senior year. You’re almost there! The CPE program staff and your mentor will help make sure you cross the finish line. You’ll receive one-on-one guidance throughout the college application process, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you when you graduate and enroll in college.
What’s the end of your story? What will you do with the rest of your life? It’s up to you.See what CPE alumni have done.
