Student Leaders

CPE realizes that many students’ leadership potential has not yet been tapped. We launched our Student Leaders program for those CPE students who are really ready to shine.

Student leaders are upperclassmen who serve as CPE ambassadors. They plan CPE community events—the Back to School Bash, the Holiday Party, and the Spring Fling. They serve as peer counselors during orientation for new students and assist with the freshman retreat. At workshops student leaders help to make sure students are engaged, and serve as role models and facilitators. At exam time, student leaders provide encouragement to underclassmen and some even tutor their younger peers.

This year we have 11 student leaders, all of whom applied for and were interviewed for the positions. We are proud of the leadership responsibilities these students are taking on and how inspirational they have been to their classmates.
