At this time, we are not accepting applications for the Trailblazers or Navigators program. The applications for public and charter school partners will be available in September 2016.
Step 1: Ensure Eligibility
Ensure that you meet our eligibility requirements for either the Trailblazers (arising 9th grade students) or Navigators (11th grade students). We cannot consider your application unless you meet our requirements.
Step 2: Complete the Online Application
The applying student and their parent/guardian must complete the application together in one sitting. The application must be submitted and cannot be saved. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
What to expect from the application:
- The application should not take more than 30 minutes.
- There is a student AND a parent/guardian portion on the application. It must all be completed in one sitting.
- It will ask for personal information, as well as information about your school and family life. Be prepared for a few short answer questions that will help us learn more about you!
Step 3: Teacher Recommendation Form
After submitting an online application, CPE will send the online Teacher Recommendation Form for a previous or current teacher to complete.
Step 4: Interview
Students who demonstrate a strong interest in CPE and a passion for their goals and future will be invited to interview with CPE staff. The interview will introduce you to CPE staff, provide you the opportunity to talk about your application, and help us get to know you better. Both the student and a parent/guardian must be at the interview.
