A good education opens doors. Students who have the solid foundation of high quality schooling earn more and achieve more. Since CPE’s founding in 1993, we’ve seen our students conquer all kinds of obstacles to attend college.

In today’s economy, CPE’s students need your support more than ever. Obtaining a strong education is not only good for them — it’s good for their communities and for America.

Where does the money go? Your donations help students from low-income communities in the Washington area to attend and flourish at rigorous college preparatory high schools and prepare for a successful college education. CPE provides one-on-one mentoring, academic enrichment programs, and individualized support for students throughout the four-year program. CPE also offers up to $4,500 per year toward high school tuition for students attending private school or $1,000 per year toward college for students attending charter schools.
