Now is the time.It’s never too early to begin thinking about your future. Apply to CPE and join the hundreds who’ve gone before you in making your dreams of college a reality.

The CPE application process runs each year from November through May. Students apply the spring of their eighth grade year. CPE admits an incoming class of freshmen each May.

Who Qualifies? Students eligible to apply for the next CPE admissions cycle must meet the following criteria:

• You will enter the 9th grade in September of 2010
• You intend to enroll in a local private high school
• You are a legal US resident (students)
• Your household income is less than or near the CPE Income Eligibility Guidelines (see Income Eligibility Chart)
• You reside in the Washington Metro area
• You want to actively participate in all components of the CPE program including mentoring, academic support and enrichment programs

I qualify! How do I apply? The CPE application process runs each year from November to May. The application for the 2010-2011 school year will be available in November 2009. To apply, you will:

• Apply to a partner private high school
• Complete a CPE English Application Form or Spanish Application Form
• Submit recommendation forms, grade reports, and two proofs of family income
• Write a personal essay
• Interview with CPE
• Agree to comply with CPE program rules and policies
