Our students deserve a good start. CPE students come from families whose average income is $28,000 per year. The majority of CPE students live in the District of Columbia. Nearly all (96 percent) are students of color, and 80 percent live with only one parent.

What difference does it make? In the past four years, 100 percent of graduating CPE seniors have enrolled in college. And, since CPE was founded, 97 percent of CPE graduates have gone to college.
