The world can OPEN DOORS We can make it happen

Why do opportunities pass some students by? Getting ahead in life is easier with a good education under your belt. For many students attending low-performing public schools, a good education is a dream that’s limited by the difficulty in finding the right school — and paying for it.

CPE changes lives. Capital Partners for Education helps students attend a rigorous college preparatory high school and go to college. We know our students can achieve great things — once the right doors are opened. We can help — by providing mentoring, academic support, and enrichment opportunities. A central part of our students’ success is a concerned and active CPE community of parents, mentors, schools, alumni, and donors. Learn about the CPE community.

Our students deserve a good start. CPE students come from families whose average income is $28,000 per year. The majority of CPE students live in the District of Columbia. Nearly all (96 percent) are students of color, and 80 percent live with only one parent.

What difference does it make? In the past four years, 100 percent of graduating CPE seniors have enrolled in college. And, since CPE was founded, 97 percent of CPE graduates have gone to college. These CPE alumni are achieving success in their professional and personal lives, and they are bringing that success back to their families and communities. Learn what the CPE experience means for students.
